Buy a lot of scissors, Break em, Saw of the handles, and stitch/superglue them to leather gloves. Have fun with them and go poke somebody's eye out!
Its hard to grab something with those gloves on though. And you DON'T want to hold hands with your boyfriend too!
For the body suit and hair, Fluffy and scarybug had good idea's about it.
Even if the design isn't the greatest, have fun with it, and your acting in it is probably the greatest part of the costume. I've seen great costumes worn by terrible cosplayers that made them suck...a lot...
