Ah, yes, Hellsing. It is a great anime, but WHY THE HELL DID THEY ONLY MAKE A HALF SEASON!?

    RE: Hellsing (not Van hellsing)

    Hellsing rocks my socks.
I've seen one chapter of The Dawn, sadly in Japanese so I had no clue what was going on, but it's got the Doc and Mad Major as well as a very cool looking young Walter.
As for the anime, the writer of the manga was very pissed off when they introduced Incognito and went off on a completely different direction to the manga when they needed to end the series abruptly (i.e. before he would have a chance to write up any more of his own storyline) and they couldn't think of a way to work in the Nazis to a nice neat ending. Because of this, there will never be another series of the anime at least until the manga has finished.
I've got volumes 1-4 of the manga, I've got 5 preordered and have already read it, and I've read the first chapter of volume 6.
And just so you know, one of my favourite images in all of Hellsing is when Alucard has impaled the troops sent in after him in volume 3. What a vonderful declaration of var.
What's the point of a hero with no one to save?

Hellsing looks cool, I tried downloading a trailer but It was in japanese and I didn't get any video. He has the most creative name I have ever seen, dracula backwards.

The Hellsing manga is spelled with two, Herr Akira!

And the imagery from volumn 5, with the ship! Wunderfull!

Great way to add to the topic. How about when you have a problem with someone's spelling you either fix it yourself or PM them about it. Instead of making a scene. |:

Anywho, yes. I love Hellsing. I've read some of the manga, most intresting. ^_^

I'm waiting for my volume 6 of the manga to get shipped over to me. Smile <img src=">
And yes, the bit on the ship in five rocks. And Alucard fits the role of the devil from the opera seemingly perfectly. XD

Ah, but is he, IS HE?! Not according to Walter in the most recent chapter. Plus with what we found out about his final release stage we can assume that he's immortal in the same way shinigami are in the Death Note (that is it's not that he's immortal so much as he's able to live off of the lives/souls he's taken, therefore if he's killed more times than he's killed others, he could die).
