I wonder what 23 years old translates to in dwarven years...

Party!!! So yeah, Happy Birthday to me!

I ended up working an earlier shift today so I could be home for some festivities and all. I ended up going out to a chinese buffet w/ my brother and his girlfriend as my birthday dinner.

As far as cakes go, I haven't had my yet, but get this: the original cake I made fell apart, so while my brother frankensteined that thing back to the land of the eating via sugar and such, my folks ended up making another cake for me just in cakes... er I mean case. Surprise

As far as gifts, I got these:
    - Transformers board game
    - A fireproof safe (to keep my precious things intact, including a certain ring I stole from some degenerate Wink)
    - Final Fantasy XII Collector's Edition
    - FFXII Strategy Guide (IIRC, my brother's girlfriend said it was part of a package deal).

    Overall, though, a good day.Smile

Re: I wonder what 23 years old translates to in dwarven years...

Doing the math, 23 human years equates to roughly 6.44 dwarf years, according to the PHB (dividing dwarf age category ages by the human counterpart always yeilds roughly 3.57ish years.  For a dwarf to age as much as a human, 3.57(ish) years must have gone by for every 1 year the human lives.  23 years / 3.57 roughly equals 6.44.  Thus, 23 human years is 6.44 dwarf years.

To flip it around we could multiply and find out at what human age you would be 23 dwarf-years old Stick out tongue  You would have to be about 82.14 years old to be 23 dwarven years aged.

If you check the date of the original post, you'll see over a year (human time) has passed - it is actually "Happy 6.72 Birthday, Galuf" (and a month and a bit late at that). Cool

bah, I automatically figured that if a birthday thread was bumped, it was because it was that time a year again... never bothered looking at the dates Stick out tongue
