Funniest Comic

To date, I believe the funniest comic is when Elliot introduces Ellen to their parents. His father's reaction was, by far, the funniest thing to ever come from a webcomic.

In fact, the whole Sister storyline up till the trip to the government facilility started was hysterical. Then it led into a riproaring adventure story! Now that's good writing!

I likeed the one AFTER Elliot introduced Ellen. the one where there parents are talking to tedds dad and acting as if they've alwas had a daughter.

i find it interesting they all come from the sister storyline so far.

My favorite's 281 with 282 in 2nd place. And it is interesting how all of them are from the syster storyline.

:p You two already got my favorites. 282 is by far my favorite (anything that deals with the odd psychology of Elliot and Ellen talking to one another is my far favorite) and the beginning of Tedd's consternation with not being given enough time to explore new forms, 139.

As for morphing... I don't know how to do it, but that's the effect I was going for when I did the transitional fades.

The biggest problem would be the last transition between the second to last and the last.

Considering how fast I blazed through the archives the first time 'round, I'd probably have to look back and review to find an absolute favorite, but...

That's one of my favorites too. I can't really name a comic outside of EGS I call my favorite. In fact I must say EGS is my favorite comic of all-time, professional or freelance.

My favourite is likely the one where Elliot first shows up as Ellen at school... the little doodles and the lusting over her... SO funny. :)

Another good one is the Alternate Paths filler. So cool.

Mean for the character he's portraying he's pretty darn good. ^_^

I think the scariest thing is the fact his face is almost an exact match...

Some of those were more eye-rollers than laughers for me, particularly the last one. A snicker and a smile to be sure, but that just doesn't come CLOSE to http://www.elgoonishshive.com/story.php?0149

I like the first comics the best, when there was no plot to restrain the humor. But then again, I like all the random comics, like Elftor (http://elftor.com/), TrueNuff (http://www.truenuff.com/index.php), and of course Mr. Demaree (http://www.codepocahontas.com/20030423.htm).

Actually there was a plot even then. It was little thin but it set many of things that would be prominent parts of the main storyline (Tedd being mistaken for a girl ---which is directly responsible for Ellen existing) and the hammer laws. Not to mention fleshing out Tedd's interest in odd things.

As I recall, after the first week they introduced the bad goo that was off the team.

Well, I guess it doesn't matter to me whether or not they had a plot, because when I first found EGS, I went straight to the archives. Thusly, it was these comics which ultimately led to my EGS addiction (and subsequent bunnyhood).

I have to agree that comic #149 is really good Ryvaken Tal`Draco. And the reason I didn't put in a whole lot of other comics is because I already had 21 listed.
