also whenever we see Tedd he's around people who already know that he doesn't need them. since we haven't seen Tedd as himself in public places that lately, that is why he doesn't seem to be wearing them.

Yeah, he wore them at school and back from school. In private settings he no longer seems to wear them regularly.
