Hi. I just noticed it here (http://www.elgoonishshive.com/story.php?0165).

I chopped up as much of the text as I could using Paint, and it looks a bit creepy. Like Ellen is screaming in the background or something. Isn't it cool how you can look through the archives again and again, finding new, crazy things each time.

That's...familiar. Does she take that pose in one of the other comics?

During sister, after the Diamond Incident, Ellen had much crying but her only other shot with head tilted up was in the shower here. (http://www.elgoonishshive.com/story.php?0256) If Dan was going to use the above pic of Ellen in a scene, he cut it or it happened after Sister. The latter is improbable because of her haircut immediatly following the conclusion of Sister.

Nah. The subliminal/satanic pic in the background does'nt have Nanase's more almond-shaped eyes.( as tedd explained extensively during his little rant at how pissed he was that people couldn't tell the difference between his 'ugly cousin' Nanase and 'hot' Ellen.)

I chopped up as much of the text as I could using Paint, and it looks a bit creepy. Like Ellen is screaming in the background or something. I went back over it using the GIMP. What I came up with is not so much creepy but is more disturbing and sad.

I don't know, I think I prefer it with the text still partly in. Then, you get the shading and all the funness. With just the lines, it looks wrong, somehow. Like Ellen's crying in anguish. I don't think it's something Ellen would do. She's still quite masculine, so she would either hang her head in despair, or scream in anger.
