: I need some linkage.

Veepa
I know that my comic is still under pretty early development, but I want to draw a bit more attention to it. So, if you are willing then link me, and I link you. And I don't really want to be linked with any sprite comics(some are okay, but most are crap)...And my comic is a comedy, so it might make sense to link it from another comedy.....My link is in my Sig...
So...Any takers?

Actually, a link to your sig is in your sig, and that's it. :)

What's the URL of your site?

and by the way, I only have 2 pages of the first issue which will probably be about 20 or so....and I know that the text is small in the pages I do have, I've been meaning to resize them

Gimme a couple of minutes to update my Links page (http://www.joelsteve.bolloxcomics.co.uk/links.html), and I'll put this 88x31 in there:

I just made that button (guess where I got the image from :)), so use it to your heart's content.

and I know that the text is small in the pages I do have, I've been meaning to resize themYou might also want to watch your kerning between letters, too. If it's too tight, then words get all crammed together (like "life" in your sig image). Depending on what program you use, you might be able to tweak it to be more readable at smaller type size.

There's a little tip from yer uncle Dingle.

What a coincidence! I too need linkage! Please use the banner in my sig, or this button:

I'm linking to you as we speak. You too, dingle! So...any chance of one in return?

you gotta earn a link out of most of us by showing that you're gonna stick to this comic thing and put some work into it. I'd also reccomend inking for a more professional look.

Well I didn't just scan the drawings, I outlined it in Photoshop and erased most of the background smudge. I kept some of it to give it a little bit of depth.

Other communities like buzzComix hang their hats on pointing this out. It's too bad, because there are a lot of new voices with good input that we'll never get to hear.

Just something to think about.

Jamie, I'll add your 88x31 when I update tomorrow night, sound okay?

Thanks Dingle, and well said. Extra thanks to Veepa, for putting my link up.

I deleted my earlier post saying I was adding your link because my host messed up. but now that I can work it properly, I'll say again, I'll add you. Keep up ze good work. You can return the favor, if you like.

2 pieces of advice: do your lettering and word baloons on the computer(use photoshop) and thats it. Best of luck.
