((They left the poor minotaur behind too))

Favarin started running with a snort for the nook as soon as Jager's body re-entered the room. He trotted past Twain and (providing he can fit) into the opening, fists clenched.

((List now reflects active players.  If you used to play and went inactive, let me know.  If you wish to join, feel free for now.

As for not updating as soon as I said I would, I'm sorry about that.  I was distracted by school. x.x

...And Favarin, don't make me smite you. :P))

[Wilder's Guild: Twain, Favarin, Yashwi, and Kenna]
Outside, Yashwi and Kenna would find no guards, as they had already rushed in to see what the ruckus was, the sound of a Ranger getting thrown and the earlier hollers of suprise from people inside who saw, meaning they would be free to enter if they wanted.  All they would need to do was push through the flap that was what was equivilent to a door in this place.

Inside, other members were making their way to the meeting room, the door starting to fill up with a several people, those on guard duty quickly making their way into the room to check on things.  Several began to head towards members of the group before Rufus called the guards out and let them know it wasn't the group that preformed the dastardly deed.  Two of the druids, handmaidens to the preistess, rushed over to Zia to check on her.

As for Twain and Jager, Twain would find Jager was only momentarily disoriented by being thrown, fine otherwise.  The lead ranger sat up holding his head and shaking it.  "Well, seems we have our work cut out for us, friend.  That beasty likely somehow got hold of Zia's mind, which explains why she's been so... Nutty recently, though I'm betting you've come to a similar conclusion."

Favarin would find that while the entrance to the nook wasn't originally minotaur sized, it would streach enough to let him through due to being made of fabric.  He'd also find the little pantry nook to be empty of anything living, the force that threw Jager long gone now.

Re: We're Not Alone [Open, Epic]

Twain nodded and helped Jager to his feet with his free hand then he sheathed his bastard sword, seeing that Zia was well attended to he looked to Rufus and back to Jager a grim look on his face.

“Dark forces are at work here and we now have our first hint at what might be playing the master of these metallic puppets.”

    He walked towards the druids.

“To be able to possess the mind of a druid of her power under our very noses, we are dealing with a very real and very sinister threat here; these creatures could lurk in the shadows of more than just this tent… and Zia’s mind… We’re not alone… I will pay a visit to the clerics at once; they must do their best to ward the area from evil creatures such as we saw here.”

He looked down at Zia, concern painted clearly on his strong face. “When she is better I will return and we can discuss this further. His clear azure gaze swept back to the two standing leaders. “That is unless you see it fit to join forces with the rest of the unified guilds now?”

Kenna pushed open the tent flap and, checking the entrance cautiously, proceeded through. She stopped outside the flap to the meeting room, and making herself as unnoticable as possible, she waits and listens to see if she can determine what's going on inside.

Re: We're Not Alone [Open, Epic]

Following suit, Yashwi followed Kenna as closely as possible, doing his best to stay out of gaze of anyone who may consider a Dark Elf as a scape-goat, whatever the situation was.  At the same moment his hands were poised in their gloves beside his side to move at the first instance of threat, several spells coming to mind as he did move his hands, several spells which would probably turn the tables of a fight in their direction - but after a moment's thought of that, he considered the possibility of someone noticing his hands poised, and relaxed them leaving them at his side so that he could not alert the other people in the room to him being a Mage.  Still, his gaze fell upon the strange assortment of people and he had to wonder, but he decided it probably best to wait for someone to notice them rather than to actively announce his presence; however, that didn't stop him from nudging Kenna and shrugging to ask her what they were planning on doing.

Kenna pressed her finger to her lips, then cupped a hand to her ear, gesturing that they should stay quiet and listen. Then, she shrank back into the shadows near the doorway to avoid notice.

Re: We're Not Alone [Open, Epic]

Favarin walked back into the room upon Twain's final comment, "Nothing but potatoes." He glanced at the two leaders able to take heed, "I suggest listening to reason now. It is plain that the actions of any of your forces unaided is futile, it would be daft and nieve to think that more time will change that. Perhaps even the unified guilds will not be enough, but they will be a much more suitable force than hodgepodge warriors running about with no battle plans, bumping into eachother and fighting amongst themselves more than looking for the enemies." He shoves a thumb in Zia's direction, then looks at Jager, "Events here have proven that...this could have been prevented. Your gods' tests specify only vague guidelines. As Twain has said, a better showing of battle prowess to them is to leave more of your people alive to have the honor of battle later by realizing when it's time to ask for help." He gave a snort from his bull-like nostrils and turned to Twain. "I'll be outside searching for any more signs of ill will." He nods then stalks out the tent flap.

Re: We're Not Alone [Open, Epic]

Before Favarin leaves Twain holds his hand up to stop him.

“If you are headed out, could you go to the Fighter’s guild and inform Lishnil Marks of our progress. Request a meeting of the guilds and have him send runners to each of the guilds informing them, if we want to be prepared for tonight’s attack we need to act and act fast.”

Turning to the Wilder’s guild leaders. “Will you be attending?”

Re: We're Not Alone [Open, Epic]

Favarin nods in compliance and makes his way out of the tent, because of the manner in which he flicked the tent flap out of his way, the duo of Keena and Yashwi were not noticed, though they did get a facefull of canvas ((I don't know where else you guys would be besides in the hallway just before the meeting room...)).

He stalks past guards and other tent occupants, who give him a good sized berth, which for once he is grateful for. Once outside he blows another snort of frustration. He continues walking, berating the stubborness of all species in his mind, he did not count himself out of his mental tirade.

The minotaur now walks to the fighters guild, calming himself for the task at hand.

Re: We're Not Alone [Open, Epic]

((I am in awe of my own charcter's hiding skills. And yes, that is where she is.))

From the sound of things, the paladin was the one to talk to. After the minotaur (where had they found that thing anyway?) had passed them by, Kenna composed herself, and stepped out into the center of the hallway, waiting in the open.
