RE: We're Not Alone [Open, Epic]

    [Mages Guild]
Master Jordan nods as he listens to Twain begining to end.  He actually listens, too.  No half assed listening here.  One Twain finishes speaking, the mage sighs.  "Unfortunatly, I doubt I can get the council to listen to me.  I will help whatever way I can.  My apprentices and theirs and so on, weither promoted to mage or not, have never been taken from the uper crust of society.  We've come up from the gutters, and we have straight heads on our shoulders.  We will support you, and not just with our words.  We plan to defy the council and provide militaristic assets in the forms of ourselves.  While I still have time, I'll try talking this stupidity out of the council, but I doubt I'll be successful."  He pauses for a second to get a small drink of water before continuing.  "So, Sir Twain, how exactly do you wish for us to support you?"

    [The Sleeping Giant]
"Yes, there have been a few that have tried invisibility spells.  They've failed, too.  Also, I don't know anyone specific who would know more.  I definetly wouldn't check the mages guild though.  Getting something out of the Mages Guild is like trying to squeeze the water out of the ocean," Kalgarath states.

Sir Twain smiles broadly and grasps Jordan's hand. "You have my eternal gratitude; any and all of your help will be useful, as for what you can do..." Sir Twain smiles, “For now your assistance in gaining the support of the council will be appreciated." He smiles at Jordan warmly, this being the first really good thing that has happened since his arrival.

"Perhaps some of your apprentices could scry the area if they haven't already and provide me with valuable tactical data." He looks over to Favarin then back to Jordan. "I believe that the next course of acting we should take is continuing are negotiations with the other guilds. If you have any suggestions on who we should talk to it would be appreciated how ever I think the next place I should go is the fighter’s guild." Adjusting his armor he continues; “If I can get them behind me perhaps it will add some weight to your arguments with the council, besides it would be a good idea to get them to form a actual watch shift on the walls.”

Favarin grins, "Maybe an actual wall while they're at it."

Shelna walks into the Mages Guild looking a little tired.  She walks to the nearest member and talks to them.  "Do wizards that are new to this city have to register here so you will know about all the wizards and magic being used in here?  I also wanted to ask if and how I could become a member of this illustrious guild of yours.  But I am Shelna Morningflower, royal conjuerer of the elven city of Evermeet and rightful heir to the throne.  I would love to join or at least help out this guild with anything that you would need.  I also wanted to know any and all information that you know about the new distrubance of golems.  I would like to help you solve this problem and bring peace to this fair city."

If the Mage has nothing more to say Sir Twain will leave the guild and head to the fighters guild.

Mikina decides to go see how the others are doing. She leaves the tavern and sees Sir Twain heading towards the fighters' guild.

"Hey, Sir Twain! Any luck with the stuffy old wizards?" said Mikina, running up to him.

(This is still incase something doesn't slow him down when leaving the mages guild so this might not have happened yet, or at all.)

Sir Twain smiles as he turns to face the rambunctious elfling, "As a matter of fact yes, it isn't full on support but it is more than I truly hoped for when I entered that tent."

((Twain: Nope, nothing stoping ya.  I'll let you two bugger each other until you get over to the fighter's guild.))

    [Mages Guild: Shelna.]
"Oh, really now?  Well," the Uper level apprentice says to Shelna, "If you really are who you say, then you wouldn't mind providing proof then."  He then stands and waits for Shelna to bring out some sort of proof.

"yeah, the fighters should be easier to get help from" said Mikina, "they're not very bright, and they like smashing stuff"

Shelna pulls out her Moonblade that her parents gave her.  "You probably know what this is and the only people that have them.  If not, this is a Moonblade.  It is passed down from generation to generation between the royal family of the Moon Elves.  Is that proof enough for you or do I need to show you my signet ring also?"

Sir Twain chuckles, "Now let’s not use stereo types." He smiles and looks to Favarin. (You are still with me right?) "After all, Favarin isn't running amuck attacking people in a blood thirsty rage."

RE: We're Not Alone [Open, Epic]

((Yeah he's there)) Favarin lightly taps his slightly glowing nosering, "Too true Twain (I forgot his first name, you don't use it enough)...Fighters are generally easy to ally with however in my experience. The more meat they have slicing things the better, I'll vouch for that philosophy. If you have 20 against 10...the 20 will usually win. Anyone they can get to help they will I think." Favarin looks both thoughtful and slightly saddened, "I would've gone to them myself...but with the reception I recieved when I first got here I figure it's better to let you go in first."

Favarin smiles jovially and chuckles, "Yeah, at least this way I'll have someone to hold infront of me when they come at me."

RE: We're Not Alone [Open, Epic]

Darwin looks around the room noticeing that everyone else left except for Tas and the stranger that told us a little about the gollems.  He then says, "It was a pleasure to meet you sir.  I am going to go and see if I can find the others I meet here and see if they are planing anything at this time."  Darwin turns to one of the waitress.  "Uh how much is all this it seems the other that where with me left without paying?"  Once he finds out the price he gets out a pouch and takes out enough gold and pays the waitress.

He then walks out of the bar and looks if Favarin and Twain have left the mages guild yet.  He sees Favarin ((Kinnda hard to miss him.)) walking with Mikina and Twian.  He then runs over to them and yells, "Hey guys wait up."  Once he catches up to them.  "So what did I miss with the talking to the mages?"
