I love to listen to music when I'm about to go asleep so I enjoyed the moody slow elevator music. And with great lyrics that generate great imagery is always a plus.

like Coldplay, Norah Jones, and Sarah McLaughlin.

I'll listen to just about anything.

Currently I listen to Swedish hardcore (Cult of Luna, Nasum), stoned softcore drone (Neurosis, Pelican) and grindcore (Isis).

I'll listen to anything I like. But by default I'm a hip hop fan, as I seem to like more from that genre than any other.

Um, does Maynard, (of Tool and A Perfect Circle fame), count as a genre of his own? Seriously though, I listen to anything I like. It can run from hardcore sh!t that'll blow your head off, to the mellow sounds of such wonderful bands as Coldplay and Evanescence. I've even been known to "shake my booty" to the likes of the Black Eyed Peas on rare occasion... I just love music! Oh, and by music, I mean the stuff they call music that doesn't suck. ^_^

Why should we? Everyone is entitled to like whatever music they want to, no matter how **** it is.

Like many who have posted before me, I agree that I listen to almost anything. Though, I listen to classic rock, nu-metal, alternative, punk rock, and industrial metal for the most part.

The only real music genre's I don't like (as a whole) are Country and Hip-Hop.

(Punk) Rock: Blink 182, Me first and the gimme gimmies.

Uhmm Pop: Alanis morrisette.

Jazz-Pop: Norah Jones.

 

And the soundtrack to The perfect storm and The nightmare before christmas...I love to sing that along..( I want a kareoke bar!)
