Since the characters are headd to Icewind Dale I thought I would ask.    Mine of course is Drizzt Do’Urden, Artemis Entreri, and Zhai(who is fron the game Demon Stone) she is so awesome.

She's an Avariel (Winged Elf) Mage/Cleric from Baldur's Gate 2, and potential romantic match for male characters.  Unfortunately, part of her backstory meant that her wings got infected and had to be removed before you meet her.

The whole time I played the game I kept wishing that they had let Aerie keep her wings.  All sorts of tactical plans could have been used, and wings = cool.

Well, Elminster is pretty awesome... then again so is Manshoon, I mean who doesn't love a power-mad, wizard tyrant who has a bunch of clones all of whom believe they are the true Manshoon and plot against eachother...

Elminster is pretty neat, but I must say I rate Minsc above him, despite Elminster being the founder of the harpers...

the best part with Minsc must've been when you used him to convince the Pirate King to let you into the Asylum in BG2 ^^

I don't remember that.  What I liked best about Minsc was his battle-cries, random soundbites, and fascination with Boo.

 I would have to say that my favorite characters (in order) are Jarlaxle, Artemis Entreri, Cadderly Bonaduce, and Harkle Harpell.  Actually, put Harkle as first, anybody that researches a spell called "Bigby's Snapping Digits" is a winner in my book!  The only spells better than that would be "Bigby's Insulting Hand" and "Tasha's Hideous Racial Slur."

For me it's Deakin from Never Winter Nights (Hordes of the Underdark and Shadows of Undrentide)
